Overview
Tesla makes electric vehicles and energy storage products such as Megapack and Powerwall. It reports production, deliveries and storage deployments a few days after each quarter ends, and financial results a few weeks later.
In 2025 Tesla delivered 1,636,129 vehicles, produced 1,654,667 and deployed 46.7 GWh of energy storage [1]. Total revenues were $94,827 million and GAAP net income attributable to common stockholders was $3,794 million [1]. That is a net margin of about 4.0% (freereports.online calculation).
Deliveries by Year
Annual deliveries rose from 936,222 in 2021 to 1,313,851 in 2022 and a peak of 1,808,581 in 2023 [1]. They then fell to 1,789,226 in 2024 and 1,636,129 in 2025 [1].
Model 3 and Model Y made up 1,585,279 of 2025 deliveries, and other models 50,850 [1]. Cumulative all-time deliveries reached 8.9 million by the end of 2025 [1].

Total revenues grew from $53.8 billion in 2021 to $81.5 billion in 2022 and $96.8 billion in 2023, then reached $97.7 billion in 2024 before falling to $94.8 billion in 2025 [1].
Automotive revenues fell 10% to $69.5 billion in 2025, while energy generation and storage revenue rose 27% to $12.8 billion [1]. GAAP net income attributable to common stockholders peaked at $15.0 billion in 2023 and fell to $7.1 billion in 2024 and $3.8 billion in 2025 [1].

Energy storage deployments grew from 4.0 GWh in 2021 to 6.5 GWh in 2022, 14.7 GWh in 2023, 31.4 GWh in 2024 and 46.7 GWh in 2025 [1]. The 2025 figure was up 49% year on year [1].
Quarterly deployments reached a record 14.2 GWh in Q4 2025 [1]. In 2026, Tesla deployed 8.8 GWh in Q1 [5], 13.5 GWh in Q2 [4] and 13.7 GWh in Q3 [3]. The Q3 2026 figure compares with 12.5 GWh a year earlier [6], an increase of about 9.6% (freereports.online calculation).
Methodology
Annual and 2025 quarterly figures come from Tesla's Q4 and FY 2025 Update [1] and its Q4 2025 production and deliveries release [2]. 2026 quarterly figures come from Tesla's production, deliveries and deployments press releases [3][4][5]. The exact Q2 2026 delivery count (480,126), the Q3 2025 storage comparison and the analyst consensus are from CNBC's report of Tesla's release [6]; Tesla's own Q2 release states over 480,000 deliveries [4]. The Q1 2026 delivery figure is Tesla's rounded "over 358,000" [5].
Deliveries count only vehicles transferred to end customers with paperwork completed [1]. Storage deployments include customer units when installed and equipment sales at delivery [1]. Revenue and net income are in USD; net income is GAAP net income attributable to common stockholders.
freereports.online calculations: 2025 net margin (3,794 / 94,827), Q3 2026 vs Q3 2025 deliveries (486,532 vs 497,099) and Q3 storage growth (13.7 vs 12.5 GWh). 2026 full-year financial results were not yet published at the time of this update.
